On 8th December 2014 Professor Piotr Wolański was awarded with the Medal of the Warsaw University of Technology.
The Ceremony was held under the patronage of Rector and the Senate of the Warsaw University of Technology. The welcoming speech gave Rector of the WUT Professor Jan Szmidt. At the Ceremony held awarding the title of Doctor Honoris Causa to Professor Michael Zgurovsky and conferring state honorary medals and Medals of the National Education Commission.
Professor Piotr Wolański is a Member of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Aviation. Since 1966 he works at the Institute of Heat Engineering of the Warsaw University of Technology.
