The Sectoral Competence Council for the Aviation Industry is an advisory and consultative body supporting the education system in the area of vocational training.
The Council operates on the basis of Articles 4c and 4e of the Act on the Establishment of the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development, the Education Law Act, its adopted Rules of Procedure, and resolutions passed by the Council.
The primary objective of the Council is to identify and forecast qualifications and professional skills required in the development of the aviation industry, as well as to align formal and non‑formal education offerings with the needs of employers in the sector, while raising awareness among businesses of the importance of work‑based learning.
The Council’s key responsibilities include:
The Council pursues its goals through dialogue and exchange of experiences among experts representing diverse stakeholder groups, including representatives of aviation industry enterprises, associations, clusters and other industry organizations, formal and non‑formal education institutions providing training for the sector, the government and local administration, as well as business support institutions connected to the industry.
