ISO 9001:2015
The Quality Management System implemented at the Łukasiewicz Research Network – Institute of Aviation meets the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 in the field of: research, laboratory tests, design and production in the field of aviation, space technology and related fields.
AQAP 2110:2016
The Quality Management System implemented at the Łukasiewicz Research Network – Institute of Aviation meets the requirements of AQAP 2110:2016 in the field of: research, laboratory tests, design and production in the field of aviation, space technology and related fields.
The high quality actions of the Łukasiewicz Research Network – Institute of Aviation is ensured thanks to the implementation of the Quality Management System, which guarantees that all the fulfilled works are planned, supervised and documented and that all the requirements agreed under contracts are fulfilled and fully correspond with the client’s demands. The Quality Management System is compliant with the requirements of the PN-EN ISO 9001:2015 standard and the standardisation document AQAP 2110:2016.
The Quality Management System necessitates the continuous improvement of the organisation’s efficiency and effectiveness.
It covers the following basic processes:
- scientific research and laboratory tests,
- development works,
- design works, and
- production.
in the field of aviation and related areas, along with a series of auxiliary processes supporting the Quality Management System in terms of development and improvement and efficient and successful collaboration with clients.

AB 129
Aerodynamic Laboratory
Since October 22nd 1997, the Aerodynamic Laboratory has offered accredited tests of aerodynamic forces and moments based on weight/pressure measurements and visualization of flow around models and real objects. Technical competence was verified by the Polish Centre for Accreditation.

Landing Gear Laboratory
Since October 22nd, 1997, the Landing Gear Laboratory has offered accredited tests of complete mechanical structures, components, and elements. The scope of accreditation is defined in Certificate No. AB 131 which is issued by the Polish Centre for Accreditation.

Environmental Laboratory
Since October 22nd, 1997, the Environmental Laboratory has offered accredited tests of mechanical, electrotechnical and electronic products, as well as their components and elements. The scope of accreditation is defined in Certificate No. AB 131 which is issued by the Polish Centre for Accreditation.

Materials And Structures Research Laboratories
The Structural Test Laboratory offers accredited static and quasistatic fatigue tests of complete mechanical structures, compo-nents and elements. The Materials Test Laboratory offers accredited fatigue and creep tests. Technical competence was verified by the Polish Centre for Accreditation
AB 1489
Materials Technology Laboratory
EDC Materials Technology Laboratory of the Łukasiewicz Research Network – Institute of Aviation since January 31, 2014 has accreditation certificate acc. to PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018-02. The following tests could be performing as an accredited: hardness tests in Rockwell and Vickers scale for metals and metal alloys; penetration examination for products and constructional materials; coating thickness measurement for metallic products. The detailed accreditation scope is defined in the Scope of Accreditation No AB 1489. Technical competences have been confirmed by Polish Centre for Accreditation.

Composites Testing Laboratory
Composites Testing Laboratory from 31st January 2014 is authorized to perform accredited tests of composites in the range of compression, tension, mode I interlaminar fracture and mode I fatigue delamination growth. Characters to be examined are determined in the scope of accreditation No AB 1490. Technical competences have been confirmed by Polish Centre for Accreditation by giving the Certificate.

Test Lab
Test Laboratory from 31st January 2014 is authorized to perform accredited, physical properties tests of construction materials and products – metals and composites within, in the range of: 0 ÷ 42 000 psi; 0 ÷ 2895,8 bar pressure and in the range of: -148 ÷ 500⁰F; -100 ÷ 260⁰C temperature, by direct measurement method. Characters to be examined are determined in the scope of accreditation No AB 1491. Technical competences have been confirmed by Polish Centre for Accreditation by giving the Certificate.

ACE
United Technologies Corporation
In September 2010 MSRC achieved the Silver level in the ACE Quality System (Achieving Competitive Excellence) applied in United Technologies Corporation. It’s the second level in the three-level system of the organization management and business culture. The ACE guarantees improvements of quality and work efficiency through proper processes and values management and creation of the work environment that eliminates potential irregularities and wastes. Former Bronze level had been achieved in 2008. The next challenge for MSRC is to reach the highest, Gold level.

GE S-400
General Electric
This certificate concerns the qualification of mechanical tests and test specimens preparation, and includes: tensile tests at room temperature (AI0A) and elevated temperature (AI0B), creep tests (AIXA), low cycle fatigue tests (AI0Y) and preparation of class B specimens (AI0X).
The S-400 certificate, which the MSRC has held since 2007, is accorded in acknowledgment of performing high quality tests and services in compliance with customer expectations. The present certificate is valid until December 31st, 2022.
