On Monday, 23 February, Łukasiewicz – Institute of Aviation hosted the United States Ambassador, Mr. Thomas Rose, together with representatives of the U.S. Embassy in Warsaw and the Vice President of the Łukasiewicz Research Network, Mr. Wiesław Skwarko.

The meeting was also attended by representatives of our Partners, with whom Łukasiewicz – Institute of Aviation has been implementing joint research and development projects for many years, including GE Aerospace, GE Vernova, Boeing, Baker Hughes, and Wabtec.

The visit began with a discussion on the current and future Polish-American cooperation in the fields of aviation, energy, transportation, and key technologies. Subsequently, the U.S. delegation visited the laboratories of Łukasiewicz – Institute of Aviation and those of our partners, where groundbreaking research for aviation, space, and energy is being conducted.

This meeting was not only an opportunity to showcase the research potential of Łukasiewicz – ILOT and our key partners, but above all, a confirmation of how essential strong and collaborative Polish-American partnerships are in the areas of modern technologies, science, and industry.
