On 22th February 2014 at the Bialystok University of Technology took place the indoor free-flight competition for kids. It was attended by up to 140 contestants in different age categories from five to eighty. The competition was dedicated mainly for children but also parents and grandparents supported in the struggle.
At the same time the art contest was carried out under the slogan “Flying to save life”.
Among the organizers were: Bialystok University of Technology, prof. Włodzimierz Brusow, dr Andrzej Lukaszewicz and Iwona Dzierma of Youth Culture.
The Institute of Aviation for many years forwards statuettes to the winners in the competition, as well as book awards.
The competition caused a lot of excitement among the youngest. For many of them it was often the first “sport” start in their life.
