On December 9-13, 2019, the AGU Fall Meeting – the largest international mevent devoted to Earth and space sciences – was held in San Francisco, USA.
The meeting was attended by over 25 000 people representing scientific institutions dealing with climate research, atmosphere physics, oceanography or geology, as well as representatives from the industry offering research equipment.
The conference was attended also by representatives of the Space Technologies Department who promoted the ILR-33 AMBER rocket as a research platform. At the stand, the ILR-33 AMBER 2K scale rocket model, promotional materials of Łukasiewicz – Institute of Aviation and films from the launch of the rocket were presented.
The AGU Fall Meeting was an opportunity for a number of interesting conversations with scientists conducting research using sounding rockets, as well as to participate in scientific sessions.
