On November 21, 2019, the most important conference on innovation in Poland, dedicated to technology transfer – the Innovation Leaders Forum was held in Warsaw.
The event was attended by directors and innovation managers, experts and innovation brokers working both at scientific and research institutions as well as in companies. Łukasiewicz Research Network – Institute of Aviation was represented by the general director, Paweł Stężycki, PhD Eng.
During the meeting, the following topics were raised: innovation in other countries, business and space, innovation drawing, IOT, and collaborative education.
During the Forum, the meeting organizer – Industrial Development Agency – announced November 21st, the International Technology Transfer Day. The date is related to events important for science, such as the presentation of the light speed measurement by Olo Romer (1676), the invention of the phonograph by Thomas Edison (1877), the publication of an article by Albert Einstein leading to the famous equation E = mc2 (1905), and the creation of the Internet (1969 ).
