On May 21-24, 2018 in Austin, Texas, USA, the world’s largest conference organized by National Instruments – NIWeek 2018 took place. The Institute of Aviation was represented at the event by Tobiasz Mayer (Center of Space Technologies), who received an invitation to participate in the NIWeek as a reward for a NI Engineering Impact awarded to him last year in Warsaw together with Kamil Sobczak for software used in tests of the engine of the ILR-33 “Amber” rocket.
NIWeek 2018 brought together thousands of engineers, scientists, and industry professionals to learn about the NI software-centric platform for accelerating development and increasing productivity in test, measurement, and control systems.
During the four days of the conference, over 200 sessions in the field of measurement, test automation, measurement techniques and control technology took place. Among the participants of the conference were representatives of such companies as SpaceX, NASA, Tesla, Airbus, BAE Systems, ESA and Lockheed Martin. Over 4,000 participants participated in the event.
