The 10th edition of the scientific conference ” Development Trends in Space Propulsion Systems” was held on 30th November – 1st December 2017 in the Centre for Innovation and Technology Transfer Management of Warsaw University of Technology.
The latest edition gathered about 90 participants from both Research & Development and Industrial sectors. Representatives of key entities of the sector such as European Space Agency (ESA), Airbus Defence & Space, Polish Armaments Group and Ministry of Economical Development were present.
The plenary lectures were delivered by prof. Piotr Wolański (Polish Academy of Sciences) and prof. Oskar Haidn (Munich University of Technology).
On the second day a workshop concerning European Propulsion Technology Gaps and Polish capabilities enabling to filll these gaps was held. It demonstrated that Poland has entities with capacities that allow becoming a part of the European supply chain in the space propulsion sector.
The conference was organized by Warsaw University of Technology, Institute of Aviation and Polish Academy of Sciences.
