On 26th May – 2nd June 2016 professor Piotr Wolański visited Sophia University, Aoyama Gakuin University, Tokyo University and Nagoya University in Japan where he gave a series of lectures on the development of autorotating engines, RDE and rocket propulsion systems which use green propellants based on the technology of obtaining hydrogen peroxide 98% HTP-class developed at the Institute of Aviation. As a result of these meetings, the Japanese side is interested in establishing a closer cooperation in the development of engines using a rotating detonation.
