On 25 April 2016 a public defence of doctoral dissertation of mgr Andrzej Iwaniuk titled: “Optimisation of small aircraft parameters in the preliminary phase of a design project” was held. The doctoral advisor was dr hab. inż. Witold Wiśniowski.
The Doctoral Thesis Committee took a decision to ask the Scientific Council of the Institute of Aviation to confer the academic degree of Doctor of Technical Sciences to mgr Andrzej Iwaniuk and submit his doctoral thesis for distinction.
