The international conference “Droniada Future Forum by Łukasiewicz – Institute of Aviation” addressed to drone industry experts, representatives of industries using drone services and everyone interested in drones will be held in Warsaw on May 24, 2024.

The conference will consist of three modules relating to different levels.

  • What can be seen from an altitude of 10,000 meters? The first part will discuss global megatrends. During the international panel, the stages of development of advanced air mobility, i.e. drone taxis in cities, will be discussed.
  • What can be seen from an altitude of 500 meters? The second part will summarize foresights for 4 sectors of the UAV market: transport and logistics; monitoring, inspection and security; precision agriculture and search & rescue.
  • What can be seen from an altitude of 120 m? The last part will discuss procedures and regulations as well as access to airspace, i.e. how to perform a specific drone mission.

The conference will feature over 25 experts from Łukasiewicz – Institute of Aviation, Polish Air Navigation Services Agency, Civil Aviation Office, Emitel, Orange, Ministry of Infrastructure, DLR, DroneUp and representatives of many other companies and institutions.

The event will be combined with matchmaking of partners for projects in the Horizon Europe programme, visits to the Institute’s research laboratories and a presentation of the Kowal index – a ranking of companies operating in the drone industry in Poland.
