Market pull and technology push

The opening session of the forum was an opportunity to present what marketing looks like in the Łukasiewicz Research Network. According to the president of the network, a balance between market pull and technology push is important, i.e. both responding to market needs and creating interest in new solutions. Łukasiewicz’s most important and primary goal is the commercialization of scientific research and perceiving the market from a global perspective.

New business models and strategies of scientific and research institutions

Participants of the discussion panels shared their thoughts on groundbreaking changes in the environment and the impact they have on scientific and research institutions. The debate also covered new market strategies, new directions and new marketing tools. Discussions on the reconfiguration of business models of scientific and research units and competency and practical requirements for undertaking effective market activities of scientific and research institutions in times of environmental uncertainty were also undertaken.

Conference participants also took part in the workshop “How to organize the effective scientific outreach of research institutions?” as well as in lecture and poster sessions. The Scientific Publishing Houses of the Łukasiewicz Research Network – Institute of Aviation and the Polish Economic Publishing House also presented their offer.

We would like to thank all speakers and participants for two days of interesting conversations and scientific inspirations.
