On May 11th, 2018 the President of the Civil Aviation Authority, Piotr Samson and the Director of the Institute of Aviation, Paweł Stężycki, signed an agreement on cooperation in the field of safety management in civil aviation.
The agreement is a continuation of previous actions in the area of conducted analyzes of aviation occurrences performed for the purposes of identification of threats in civil aviation, defining their trends and cooperation in the development of preventive actions.
The assumptions of the agreement are defined by the joint activities of the Civil Aviation Authority and the Institute of Aviation aiming at achieving a high level of civil aviation safety in Poland and indicating the existing areas and potential threats to aviation entities in order to eliminate or reduce them to an acceptable level of security.
