Hanwha Aerospace Europe (HAEU) and Łukasiewicz – Institute of Aviation announce the signing of an agreement that paves the way for intensified cooperation in research and development, particularly in the areas of unmanned aerial systems, advanced technologies and defense applications.
The agreement was signed by the President of HAEU, Billy Boo Hwan Lee, and the Director of Łukasiewicz – Institute of Aviation, Paweł Stężycki, PhD. The formal signing took place at the headquarters of the Łukasiewicz – Institute of Aviation in Warsaw. An essential part of the meeting was also a study visit to the Rocket and Satellite Propulsion Laboratory, the Composite Technology Center, and the Aerodynamic Research Laboratory.
This agreement lays the foundation for joint projects aimed not only at advancing technologies in the mentioned areas but also at strengthening Polish-South Korean cooperation and the exchange of knowledge and experiences between both institutions.
