On 9 March 2016 in the Copernicus Science Center the Space Forum 2016 was held, i.e. a meeting organized together by the Polish Space Industry Association and the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development. The Institute of Aviation presented its scientific offer in the field of implementation of remote sensing mission and processing and validation of remote sensing data. The Institute was represented by Paweł Czapski, the head of the Remote Sensing Division.
Among the speakers of the March conference were representatives of government administration, research institutions, as well as guests from the European Space Agency and other national space agencies.
The aim of the meeting was to promote the achievements of the Polish space sector, to exchange experiences and to indicate the directions for development.
The conference was linked with the exhibition of Polish projects, services and products dedicated to the European Space Agency that are now being realized.
