On 22th of April 2016 the Institute of Aviation hosted representatives of government administration, industry and army at a special rotorcraft conference organized on the occasion of the 60-year anniversary of starting the production of helicopters at “PZL-Świdnik” S.A.
The special edition of a rotorcraft conference was an opportunity to summarize and make references to history and plans for the future. A special guest of the meeting was deputy prime minister Jarosław Gowin, who congratulated the company authorities on the jubilee, as well as expressed hope that the well-being of Poles will come from that very development of modern industry.
The audience listened to the speeches of the director of the Institute of Aviation, Witold Wiśniowski, the president of executive board of the “PZL-Świdnik” S.A., Mieczysław Majewski, the vice-president of the Finmeccanica Helicopter Division, Krzysztof Krystowski, the chief of the SW-4 progra, Andrzej Lisowski, the chief of the W-3 program, Zenon Witkowski, the retired experimental pilot of the “PZL-Świdnik” S.A., Władysław Bień and the head of customer support, Andrzej Stachyra.
