Spacecraft Platform Architecture for Research and Key-enabling missions. Development of a prototype satellite platform for conducting research, analyses and tests of components and materials in space conditions, for use in the development of space and materials technologies.
The main objective of the Commissioned Task is to develop a dedicated research tool in the form of
an experimental satellite platform in the size of a CubeSat 3U, enabling the launch of research experiments into space.
The scope of the SPARK project includes a comprehensive process of analysis, planning, development, integration, testing and validation of a CubeSat 3U research satellite platform, which is a technology demonstrator. This work falls within the area of Research and Develo0pment (R&D), with the aim of developing innovative space technologies.
The SPARK project involves comprehensive activities leading to the launch of the Łukasiewicz Satellite Experimental Research Network Platform into low Earth orbit. As a result, the Łukasiewicz Research Network-Institute of Aviation will acquire new competences to independently conduct space projects.
