From 8th till 9th February 2016, representatives of the Institute of Aviation participated, within the Polish Space Agency delegation, in meetings with Ukrainian Space Agency, and they had an opportunity to be acquainted with the Ukrainian space companies: Yuzhnoye and Yuzhmash achievements. The Institute of Aviation was represented by professor Piotr Wolański and Leszek Loroch, PhD Eng.
The meeting was followed by a proposal of constructing Polish-Ukrainian rocket to lift small satellites. Professor Piotr Wolański presented the history and present ongoing development tests in rocket techniques carried out at the Institute of Aviation. The talks were ended with a discussion on possible variants of the construction of such rockets.
