The Parliament passed a law on the establishment of the Polish Space Agency. The aim of the new institution is to help get money from the European Space Agency, as well as to facilitate a cooperation between science and business.
Polish Space Agency (POLSA) will coordinate the activities of the sector, which today are scattered among various institutions and departments, identify interesting and important applications, create own laboratories, improve sharing knowledge, etc.. The cost of establishing the Agency is estimated at 5-10 million zł per year. The Agency will have its headquarter in Warsaw.
