The 52th International Paris Air Show was held on 19-25 June 2017 in Le Bourget, Paris. The event brought together thousands of visitors who had the opportunity to see the latest aircraft and technology solutions for aviation and space industries.

This year’s edition showed passenger aircraft, including Boeing 737 MAX 9, Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner, Embraer: E195-E2 and Legacy 450, Gulfstream G280, numerous transport and military aircraft: F-35A Lightning II, F-16 C / D, V-22 Osprey, Leonardo DRS T-100 and many others.

Also attractive to visitors were the exhibitors’ stands. Airbus Helicopters presented the RACER helicopter demonstrator developed under the European Clean Sky 2 research programme, which also includes the Institute of Aviation as a coordinator of the consortium (more on the DREAM project here). Our engineers will be responsible for the design and construction of the engine compartment cowlings including air inlet ducts and ventilation ducts.
