Where the world of logistics meets the world of drones!
Transporting pizza with a drone or flying over the city in an air taxi is the most popular image of the possibilities of unmanned technologies. Unfortunately, these are the least practical ways of using drones in logistics. What are the other possibilities of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in broadly understood transport? To find out, ask experts from the logistics market.
Registration for the event has ended.
We invite you to our next online seminars.
The online seminar on logistics and transport will be an introduction to the first drone market foresight in Poland. A total of 4 seminars will be organized, during which scenarios for the development of the UAV industry will be developed. We invite you to the summary in Warsaw, the seat of the Łukasiewicz – Institute of Aviation, on May 24, 2024. As a result of the taken activities, a special report will be published in July 2024.
At the online seminar, we will learn what the logistics industry would like to know about its processes. The debate will be held in 3 modules:
- Economical
- Social
- Technological
Our special guests from the world of transport and deliveries will speak about the economic and social challenges in the industry, while engineers from Łukasiewicz – Institute of Aviation will summarize technological trends and present the most important directions of development of innovations using UAVs for logistics. We will focus on the needs of logistics and transport companies on the Polish market, taking the EU market as a context.
- What are the biggest challenges of the logistics industry?
- How to incorporate new technologies into transport and logistics processes?
- Is it profitable to use drones?
- How does the safety of using UAVs relate to this?
- Is a clear regulatory framework in place?
- What about social acceptance?
- Do groundbreaking drone technologies expose companies and cities to cyberattacks, threaten privacy and create unbearable noise?
We trust that the participants of the online seminar will express their opinions in the mini Delphi survey and we will learn their opinions on logistics challenges.
