The Institute of Aviation and General Electric Company Polska became signatories of the Diversity Charter in Poland. On May 22th during the Second National Diversity Day an official declaration of joining was signed by the Deputy Director of the Institute of Aviation and Director of the Engineering Design Center – Rafał Kajka, Ph.D. Eng. and the President of General Electric Company Polska– Magdalena Nizik.
The Institute of Aviation and General Electric Company Polska were among 100 companies and institutions which adopted the Diversity Charter. Both institutions signed it officially on October 8th, 2014 at the Institute of Aviation in Warsaw.
The celebration of the Second National Diversity Day was accompanied by a lecture by Manfred J. Wondrak on diversity management and followed by workshops on age/sex/disability stereotypes and diversity management from a leader point of view.
The joining to the Diversity Charter community is linked with many liabilities in the field of HR policy. Both employees and managers should support equality and diversity in the work place.
