Team of the Space Technology Department of the Institute of Aviation currently is working on new test stand for testing of new rocket engines with thrust up to 5 kN . The project of new test stand is conducted parallel with demonstrator of hybrid rocket motor. This stand will be adaptable to all types of rocket engines, which thrust is generated by exothermic chemical reactions in the combustion chamber. The test stand will be equipped with a measuring system for gathering information from the force sensor, pressure transducers and thermocouples that allow to determine complete performances of tested engines and with delivery rig consist of three independent lines: fuel line, oxidizer line and security line. All tests will be conducted in special room that can withstand explosions and will be controlled from separate steering-room due to safety considerations.
