15th November 2010, at the Institute of Aviation, was opened newest and second biggest subsea laboratory. It was thank to cooperation between Institute of Aviation and General Electric.
This laboratory will test products, which will be used in the oil and gas industry, especially under the sea. It is one of three such laboratories of GE in the world (second in terms of size) also it has huge workspace and technically advanced research equipment.
