Microsoft has awarded the Łukasiewicz Research Network – Institute of Aviation a Certificate of Full License Compliance. This is the first certificate for the Łukasiewicz Research Network covering the use of Microsoft academic licenses. The certificate confirms the full compliance of Microsoft licenses used in the Łukasiewicz Research Network – t Institute of Aviation where licenses in the academic offer are widely used.
In 2019, Response company – a Microsoft partner – issued an expertise confirming the possibility of using academic licenses by institutes belonging to the Łukasiewicz Research Network. Certificate of Full License Compliance confirms the expertise – this time issued by Microsoft itself.
The official transfer of the certificate for the Łukasiewicz Research Network – Institute of Aviation took place on March 9, 2020 at the headquarters of the institute in Warsaw. On behalf of Microsoft, the certificate was presented by Monika Mickiewicz – Director for intellectual property protection and SAM.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Łukasiewicz Research Network – Institute of Aviation: Paweł Stężycki – CEO, Sylwester Wyka – Deputy CEO and Jakub Mazurkiewicz – IT Department Manager.
The certificate was handed over in the presence of Mariusz Jabłoński – Director of the development department in the Łukasiewicz Research Network, Przemysław Sobczyk – member of the management board of Response which as a Microsoft partner conducted the certification, and Kacper Zubrzycki representing Microsoft.

Their users are scientists and engineers who, using the Microsoft Azure service, can cheaply, quickly and flexibly create a research infrastructure for developing innovative services combining modern cloud technologies with the latest achievements in the field of aviation research – says Paweł Stężycki, Director of the Łukasiewicz Research Network – Institute of Aviation.
The certificate is a confirmation of a closer cooperation between the Łukasiewicz Research Network and Microsoft. The ability to use Microsoft academic licenses will not only allow network institutes to save money, but it will also provide free access to a suite of business services.
