On September 24th, 2020 Łukasiewicz – Institute of Aviation received Nadcap accreditation after successfully passing a Nadcap audit in non metallic material testing. It is the first Nadcap accreditation in non metallic material testing in Central Eastern Europe.
The Nadcap (National Aerospace and Defence Contractors Accreditation Program) is widely recognized by leading manufacturers from the aviation industry. This means that accredited laboratories can provide research services anywhere in the world. The purpose of the program is to assess process capability for compliance to industry standards and customer requirements.
The Nadcap program is managed by representatives of the largest aviation companies, while the administration of the Nadacp program is carried out by the non-profit organization, Performance Review Institute (PRI).
By achieving Nadcap accreditation, Composites Testing Laboratory team has demonstrated high competences and quality of the provided tests.
