On 22-24 June, 2014 at the Institute of Aviation will be held “International Workshop on Detonation for Propulsion 2014″ (IWDP 2014). The workshop is organized within the project: “Turbine engine with detonation chamber”.
The workshop is the meeting place for scientists from around the world dealing with the use of detonation in engines.
The subject of the speeches include:
• new concepts in detonative propulsion from sub-component to system levels,
• experimental techniques for detonation in propulsion,
• new findings in detonation physics from experimental and theoretical studies,
• the analytical and computational methods of detonation analysis.
The workshop will provide an opportunity to summarize 4 years of summer works carried out within the project: “Turbine engine with the detonation chamber.”
INVITATION
On behalf of the organizers, I would like to invite you as a speaker for the International Workshop on Detonation for Propulsion 2014 (IWDP 2014) which will be held on June 22-24, 2014 at Institute of Aviation, Warsaw, Poland.
The Workshop aims to promote the international exchange of technical achievements in the field of detonation and its application to propulsion. The program will be prepared only taking into consideration invited talks by specialists from institutions where active programs are going on to cover the following topics: (1) New concepts in detonative propulsion from sub-component to system levels, (2) Experimental techniques for detonation in propulsion, (3) New findings in detonation physics from experimental and theoretical studies, and (4) The analytical and computational methods of detonation analysis. Thanks to support the event through the project „Turbine Engine with detonation chamber” and Institute of Aviation, researchers around the world would be able to present their most recent accomplishments and exchange research ideas in this exceptional forum.
The event is set to be held in Institute of Aviation, Warsaw on June 22-24, 2014. Technical tours to the Institute of Aviation and Warsaw University of Technology will be arranged during the event.
For further information about IWDP 2014, please visit the workshop website at www.ilot.edu.pl/IWDP2014.
It would be our pleasure and honor to have you as a speaker at Workshop. Your contribution will be crucial to the success of the conference. If you have any question, please do not hesitate to contact me at piotr.kalina@ilot.edu.pl. We would appreciate it if you could kindly communicate your intention of participation before April 15th, 2014. Thank you in advance and I look forward to your participation.
Participation in the Workshop is free (no Registration Fee). Participants cover only the costs of their round trip and stay in Warsaw during the Workshop.
