The Institute of Aviation participated in this year’s Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity. On January 14th, 2010 on Zalew Zagrzyński, near Warsaw, the winners of a charity auction enjoyed a flight in an Institute hovercraft together with the designer. All proceeds of the auction were donated to the foundation. A technical team from the Institute and the lucky winners were greeted by beautiful sunshine and biting frost.
Under these conditions, the flight took place safely, and the participants were delighted with the new experience. Waiting on the shore were specially prepared certificates as well as warm tea. In addition to the hovercraft flight, the Institute also provided on behalf of the Foundation: Research Publications of the Institute as well as the occasional gadget. All auctions attracted wide interest.
