Space Technology Department of the Institute of Aviation in Warsaw conducts research on demonstrator of hybrid rocket engine. The considered propellant consists of HTPB with additives (to increase performances) formed to fuel grains and highly concentrated hydrogen peroxide in HTP class (concentrate to 98%) as a oxidizer. Design thrust is assess on 100N under sea-level conditions. Results of engine tests will be used to analyze the rate of combustion of fuel grains for different operating conditions (pressure in the combustion chamber, the concentration of HTP).
