During 31 May and 1 June 2017 the Congress Centre ICE Kraków hosted the biggest event in CEE region devoted entirely to economy 4.0. The two-day meeting brought together over 5000 participants among whom there were many guests from Poland and abroad. The Institute of Aviation stand was located in the science zone and presented an R&D offer of its six research centres. Two of our representatives were also active during a congress and networking sessions.
This year’s impact drew the attention of the most important players on the market: the biggest corporations, but also many start-ups. Polish government was represented by Prime Minister, Beata Szydło, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Development and Finanse, Mateusz Morawiecki, Minister of Higher Education, Jarosław Gowin and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Culture and National Heritage, Piotr Gliński. Of particalr interest was the speech delivered by an initiator of Solar Impulse 2 project, Bertrand Piccard, who together with Andre Borschberg, made a flight around the world with a glider powered by solar energy.
Many latest topics were discussed during Cracow impact’17: economy 4.0, fintech, technology transfer, e-transportation, digitalization of services and smart cities.
The next edition will be held on 13-14 June 2017 in Cracow, Poland.
