The Institute of Aviation has established a cooperation with the Institute of Ceramics and Building Materials in the field of research, expertise and technical analyzes using the infrastructure and laboratory bases of both parties.
The cooperation agreement was signed by the chief executive officers of both institutes: Paweł Stężycki, PhD Eng. (Institute of Aviation) and Paweł Pichniarczyk, PhD Eng. (Institute of Ceramics and Building Materials).
In signing the contract participated also – on behalf of the Institute of Aviation: Andrzej Leski, PhD hab. Eng. – director for scientific affairs and Antoni Bartnik – legal counsel and on behalf of the Institute of Ceramics and Building Materials: Henryk Szeląg, PhD Eng. – director’s proxy for industrial relations.
The activity of the Institute of Aviation is focused on providing services in design, engineering and research in the field of aviation and aerospace technologies. The Institute of Aviation cooperates with the European Union countries and at the transatlantic level in the field of: aircraft constructions, aerospace technology, safety, aircraft engines, aerodynamics, propulsions, composites and material tests.
The Institute of Ceramics and Building Materials is a lasting and important part of the Polish research and development community that combines a high level of scientific research with an implementation of its achievements in the industrial practice. The range of the Institute’s research includes the total of technical sciences related to ceramics and glass.
