On 8th April 2014 took place the 6th Conference “Industry Days 2014”, which was attended by the representatives of the Institute of Aviation. This year’s conference was held under the slogan: “Modern industry – a strong army”. Among guests were representatives of the Polish defense industry, universities and research institutes.
The conference was opened by the Secretary of State in the Ministry of National Defense Czesław Mroczek, who in his speech stressed the importance of the national defense industry in the modernization of the Polish army. He also noted that the Ministry of Defense makes every effort to support the national defense industry.
The aim of the conference was to exchange information on the military and industrial processes at the national and European level. Directions of structural transformation of the defense sector, changes related to the restructuring of the Polish Armed Forces for the years 2014-2022, research programs in the area of security and defense, and international cooperation opportunities for entrepreneurs were also discussed.
The event was also an opportunity to present the achievements of Polish industry. Exhibition stands were prepared by the significant industrial and scientific bodies of the Polish defense sector.
The Institute of Aviation have presented a model of the helicopter ILX – 27.
