As part of Poland’s Presidency of the Council of the EU, a meeting of the EU Military Committee Working Groups (EUMCWG and EUMCWG/HTF) was held on the initiative of the Polish Military Representation to the NATO and EU NCs. The meeting was attended by nearly 60 officers representing the armed forces of the 27 EU member states. The leading topic of discussion was cooperation between the military and the R&D system and the arms industry.


Acting Director of Łukasiewicz – Institute of Aviation, Dr. Eng. Sylwester Wyka, as coordinator of the Łukasiewicz Research Network for defense technologies, presented the competencies and latest products developed at Łukasiewicz institutes. He also pointed out the phenomenon of synergy that occurs between the Łukasiewicz Research Network, the Ministry of National Defense and Polish industry.

The discussion was also attended by representatives of Business&Science Poland, the National Research and Development Center and the Polish Armaments Group.

The event was initiated and organized by the Łukasiewicz – Institute of Aviation’s Office in Brussels.
