On 24th – 25th November 2011 Institute of Aviation held a European Forum “Marketing of Scientific and Research Organizations”. The event was organized by the Institute ofAviationinWarsaw. Participants fromPolandand other European countries had a unique opportunity to meet an international group of people interested in marketing of services offered by scientific and research organizations. Among the speakers were authorities from acrossEurope: in the area of marketing strategies, copyright, social media, internet marketing, promotion of science in the media and raise funds for the development and marketing activities of scientific institutions and research.
Dr. Eng. Witold Wisniowski, director of theInstituteofAviationmade the official Opening of the Forum. Occasional letter from Mrs. Minister of Science and Higher Education Professor Barbara Kudrycka that supports this unique project has been read.
The first day of the Forum was very intense. The last point was a workshop on raising funds for the development and marketing activities of scientific institutions and research and the protection of copyright.
After a busy day, participants took part in a unique event, the only one prepared specially for them show “Flamenco passionately” at the Theatre Polonia. Theater, film actress, outstanding dancer and instructor of flamenco and argentinian tango Anna Iberszer told the story of unrequited love with the dance. Flamenco dancer and singer Magda Navarette deeply touched the audience with her voice. Andrzej Lewocki and Marek Fedor played on traditional latinoamerican instruments.
After the show, was held a banquet, during which guests could not only share their impressions after the first day of the meeting and the performance, but also to talk and make a toast with the stars of the show.
Another day Forum was opened by a guest lecture fromNorway, Professor Håkan Håkansson, world-class authority on marketing.
The success of the European Forum “Marketing of Scientific and Research Organiztions”, showed that there is strong demand for the creation for both theoreticians and practitioners in the field of marketing opportunities for the presentation of research results, exchange of experiences and concepts of marketing services offered by academic and research organizations with collegues frum other european countries.
