On 16th April 2014 in the Congress Hall of the Palace of Culture and Science took place the 14th Engineering Recognition Day. The event was organized by the Institute of Aviation and the Engineering Design Center (EDC). The gala was hosted by Witold Wiśniowski, Director of the Institute of Aviation and Magdalena Nizik, President of the Board, General Electric Company Polska.
Among the invited guests were representatives of GE Aviation, GE Oil&Gas and GE Power&Water Businesses.
During the event the best engineers and the best projects of the year were recognized with Engineering Recognition Day Awards and collected their statuettes.
Among the various technical categories, the EDC engineers were awarded in the following two: Management Awards and Initiatives Awards, including: GE Volunteers, GE Women’s Network and HealthAhead Physical Activities.
The celebration was finished with the artistic performance of Ireneusz Krosny and the anniversary cake reception.
