On January 17, 2017 the director of the Institute of Aviation, professor Witold Wiśniowski together with the president of the State Commission on Aircraft Accidents Investigation col. pilot Andrzej Lewandowski signed a cooperation agreement in the field of research, expertise and technical analyses.
The cooperation will include among others the use of the Institute of Aviation laboratories to meet the needs of the State Commission on Aircraft Accidents Investigation in regards to its statutory activities.
