On 28th March 2014 came to an end a three-month scientific internship of American students from the Ohio State University. Students became acquainted with the research work at the Institute of Aviation. They took part in the following projects:


–  turbine engine with detonation combustion chamber,

–  demonstrator of wing flaps mechanization “Butterfly Wing”,

–  and works on rocket engine.

In all these projects they performed engineering works including calculations.

Students have  participated in lectures in the Faculty of Power and Aeronautical Engineering  at the Warsaw University of Technology. They also visited PZL Okecie.

On the occasion of completion of the internship, students were given certificates, commemorative albums and souvenirs with the logo of the Institute of Aviation.
