On March 19, 2025 the Łukasiewicz – Institute of Aviation participated in the Business Summit on Competitiveness and Security in Brussels, organized by Business & Science Poland under the patronage of the Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union. This prestigious event, held 100 days after the inauguration of the new European Commission, provided an excellent opportunity to discuss key challenges and prospects for European businesses in the context of the Commission’s new strategy to strengthen EU competitiveness.

During the conference, the European launch of the “We did it in Poland” campaign took place, showcasing groundbreaking Polish innovations. Among them is the ILR-33 AMBER 2K suborbital rocket.

Polish innovations in Brussels

The Institute plays a key role in promoting Polish innovations on the European stage, and our office in Brussels actively supports initiatives related to scientific and technological cooperation, as well as strengthening the position of Polish technologies in the EU’s research and development policy. During the event, representatives of the Insitute have the honor of presenting the ILR-33 AMBER 2K rocket and the POLON propulsion system to the Minister for European Union. Both are representing a breakthrough in the field of environmentally friendly space propulsion.
