On 1 March 2020, by the decision of the President of the Łukasiewicz Centre, Paweł Stężycki, PhD, Eng., was appointed to the position of Director of the Łukasiewicz Research Network – Institute of Aviation for a period of 5 years.
Paweł Stężycki, PhD Eng, has been associated with the Institute since 2002. In 2018 he was appointed Director of the Institute of Aviation by the Minister of Entrepreneurship and Technology, Jadwiga Emilewicz; since April 1, 2019 he has continued his mission as Director of the Łukasiewicz Research Network – Institute of Aviation.
In January 2020, he was appointed to the College of Advisors to the President of the Łukasiewicz Centre, whose task is to support the Network in developing strategic objectives and directions of research activities. In the twenty-person college he is one of five directors of the Łukasiewicz institutes, who received a nomination to this group.
As a director of one of the institutes belonging to the Łukasiewicz Research Network, , employing over 1300 people, he will continue to develop the Institute’s technological base and support the Network’s position on the domestic and foreign market of services for entities from the aerospace sector.
