The Network Flatter Test Laboratory is conducting the project titled” The acquisition of industrial property rights for the development for the method of rapid estimation of aircraft aeroelasticity during flatter tests in flight”.
Project No. UDA-POIG.01.03.02-14-045/11-00 is being fulfilled within the Operational Programme Innovative Economy 2007 – 2013. Priority 1, Research and development of modern technologies. Measure 1.3, Support for R&D projects for entrepreneurs carried out by scientific entities. Sub-measure 1.3.2, Support for the protection of industrial property generated in scientific entities as a result of R&D works.
The patentable subject matter is the method of testing the freedom of an aircraft from flutter using algorithms enabling the estimation of the aeroelastic properties during flatter tests in flight performed in real time.
The specific objectives of the project are:
- Initiation of the proceedings for obtaining patent protection in 11 European countries (Netherlands, Great Britain, Belgium, France, Spain, Germany, Italy, Czech Republic, Romania, Switzerland, and Austria).
- Submitting an application to the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
- Submitting an application to the Patent Office in Canada.
Timeframe for execution of project: 01/07/2012 – 31/12/2015.
