On October 10th, 2024, during the EASN Conference in Thessaloniki, a consortium meeting of the AREANA project took place. The Łukasiewicz – Institute of Aviation team presented the current status of the preparations for Aerodays 2025, international aerospace event that will take place next year on May 7-9.
The AREANA project plays a vital role in advancing European aviation research and its influence on innovation policy and the shift towards zero-emission aviation. In addition to preparing for Aerodays, the AREANA project focuses on the following key areas:
- Harmonizing national research strategies across Europe
- Intensifying international cooperation in European aviation research
- Increasing available resources for research and development
- Strengthening research collaboration with partner countries outside the EU
- Supporting political cooperation as part of Aerodays 2024/2025
- Enhancing the Alliance for Zero Emission Aviation (AZEA)
