On 15 January 2010, in Mielec, the presentation of the first cockpit produced at PZL Mielec for the helicopter S-70i Black Hawk took place. Witold Wiśniowski, Director of the Institute of Aviation, attended the presentation. The event coincided with opening a modern hall for assembling components. Since 2007 PZL Mielec has been part of United Technology / Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, who are interested in cooperation with the Institute of Aviation.
