26 and 27 March 2013 at the Institute of Aviation met participants of ESPOSA project (Efficient Systems and Propulsion for Small Aircraft). The purpose of the meeting was to present the current results of the tasks in the SP6 and SP7 subprojektach. They relate to the technical aspects of building the engine and work package WP1.1, which aims to identify future directions for air motors for small aircraft.
Esposa project is implemented under the 7th Framework Programme. The final result of the project is to build three demonstrators of tehcnology – 3 types of aircraft equipped with a new type of a turbine engine TP-100 with a power of 180 kW developed by Czech company PBS. The Institute of Aviation develops demonstrator technology a based on the existing I-23 airplane.
