Last week, the team of Aerodynamic Research Laboratory together with engineers from the Engineering Design Center (EDC GE) and Middle River Aircraft Systems (MRAS) tested the new air inlet Nacelle Anti-Ice System design for GE LEAP-1C engine in the T-3 low-speed wind tunnel.
During the test campaign, the SAD measurement system was used to measure airflow speed, pressures and temperatures at the engine inlet. Three thermal imaging cameras (IR cameras) were applied and the Secondary Flow System was used. Thirty one test points were completed.
This test campaign is yet another success in our cooperation.
