November 23, 2012 Professor Oleksandr Zaporozhets from the National Aviation University NAU, Kiev visited the Institute of Aviation in Warsaw. There were many reasons for the visit. The Institute of Aviation and National Aviation University in Kiev are members of the consortium responsible for the project. The aim of the project is to create an environmental management system that will be a reliable tool in the assessment of aircraft noise generated by small and medium-sized airports, and the basis for planning further development subjects. During the visit, was also discussed cooperation in the IRSES (International Research Staff Exchange Scheme), which is also funded by the EU 7th Framework Programme. Another important topic of the meeting was exchange of students of postgraduate studies from both institutions.
March 5, 2012 was concluded an agreement on cooperation between the National Aviation University of Ukraine and the Institute of Aviation, which enabled the joint work on these projects.
