25-26 September 2012 in the Institute of Aviation held a meeting WP6.5 “New design and manufacturing approaches for ‘hot’ composite Nacelles” of ESPOSA project. It concerned turboprop composite panels that would be mounted on the aircraft I-23 (Institute of Aviation) and Orka (Piaggio Aero). The biggest problem that must be solved in this project is to design panels so that they are resistant to the high temperatures generated by working turbo engine. During the meeting, were made decisions on the material, technology implementation, and program of material testing. The meeting was attended by participants of the Composites Laboratory of the Institute of Aviation an from following organizations: NLR, MERL, CIRA, Piaggio Aero, EVEKTOR, VZLU, INCAS. During the break, hosts organized tour in the Institute. Our guests had a chance to see the CBMK laboratories and composites laboratory.
