Description: The book is a systematic collection of papers, published by the authors in years 1969-2000 and focused on nonlinear dynamics of airframe parts, units and structures. It has been written to acquaint the reader with some general methods of formulating nonlinear dynamics and structure stability problems and with methods of numerical solving with the aid of computer techniques. The particular attention was given to following problems: regular and chaotic vibrations of an airfoil with a trailing edge flap in supersonic flow, nonlinear, regular and chaotic flutter in incompressible flow, nonlinear, regular and chaotic vibrations of a plate in supersonic flow, vibrations and stability of a self-excited surface structure loaded by a follower force in supersonic flow, regular and chaotic oscillations of helicopters, numerical simulation of the main rotor stall. This study is mainly dedicated to students, postgraduates and engineers of aviation branches. Because of universality of the presented methodology engineers of other branches might also be interested in it.
