Description: Collective work. The monograph presents views on the prospects for the further development of aircraft propulsion systems based on available information on the design, technology and performance as well as on the principles and limitations of engine use. The individual issues are described in varying degrees of detail. Issues from easily accessible aeronautical literature are only mentioned and more attention is paid to lesser-known topics, which are derived from difficult to access literature and research (often conducted by authors).
The book is dedicated to the specialists of aircraft engines, but the information contained in it may also be useful for the users of other diesel engines used in land and sea transport,
used for the propulsion of armoured vehicles, locomotives, working machines, field power plants, etc. The book is dedicated to the specialists of aircraft engines, but the information contained in it may also be useful for the users of other diesel engines used in land and sea transport, used for the propulsion of armoured vehicles, locomotives, working machines, field power plants, etc.
