Description: The monograph presents the issues that the author dealt with in full or in part. First, he considers the systems coupled on the example of flexural-torsional vibrations of a susceptible rotor. He explains why some couplings have a stabilizing effect and others destabilize the oscillating motion. He then presents a method for quickly prototyping the vibration control system (the control object was a slim bar structure). The method of identifying the physical model (and not the modal model) of the mechanical system is presented below. Obtaining such a model allows for deep diagnostics of the controlled structure. Next, the problem of non-colocation of measuring elements and executive elements is discussed, as well as the influence of non-colocation on the stability of the vibration control system. Using the methods of control theory, a virtual (computational) re-location of these elements was obtained, which allows to design fast local vibration control loops. In order to illustrate the problem and its solution, a rigid rotor with magnetic bearings was used.
